OUR CORE BELIEFS
The critical forces for achieving deep-rooted and sustainable change in societies come from within each nation. Human rights cultures are built from the ground up.
Global Rights is a unique human rights capacity building organization that works side by side local activists in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to challenge injustice and amplify new voices within the global discourse.
We focus on strategies that are essential to promoting, protecting, and fulfilling human rights such as: documenting and exposing violations, conducting community education and mobilization, advocating legal and policy reform, using the courts on behalf of disadvantaged populations, and engaging the international community, including the United Nations and regional bodies.
CORE STRATEGIC APPROACH
Global Rights establishes partnerships with local organizations and activists around the world, which are designed to build their capacities as effective agents for human rights and social change, in local and international arenas.
